The abstract should state the purpose of the study, a brief description of the procedures employed, main findings, and principal conclusions, with not more than 300 words. Footnotes, references, and subheadings should be avoided. The abstracts should be constructed into the following segments: Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusion. Authors must provide between three to five keywords that characterize the main topics of the abstract.

To facilitate your abstract submission process, kindly follow the guidelines below:

  1. The abstract should represent original work.
  2. The abstract should be written in English, single-spaced.
  3. The abstract should be in a single paragraph, with no citations or references.
  4. Do not include bullets, lists, and header / footer in the abstract.
  5. Scientific names must be in Italic.
  6. Chemical formulae should be written in a standard form such as “H2O”, not as “H2O”.
  7. Acronyms should be written in full the first time, mentioned in the text, followed by the abbreviation in parenthesis eg: Hematoxylin & Eosin (H&E).
  8. Use a zero before decimal points such as “0.30”, not “.30”.
  9. Keywords should be written in lowercase letters (no more than 6 words) and should be separated with commas.
  10. The notification of acceptance/rejection for the abstract will be sent to the corresponding author.
  11. By submitting the abstracts, authors agree to permit the conference organizer to publish the abstract in the conference handbook and/or website.
